It contains Water Hyacinth, Dirty Water and Solid Wastes. The spillway of the pond is diverted towards the Sohna highway’s Storm water Drain. The pond has the Boundary wall, Landscaping work is in Progress. The base of pond is filled with the silt which is not allowing the water to percolate into ground, Needs de silting . HAJIPUR LOCATION: at the outskirts of village, near to Agriculture lands. | AREA: 1.5 Acre GP LAND AVAILABLE: 0.5 Acre DEPTH: 8 feet POPULATION: 2000+ HOUSEHOLDS: 349 DISTANCE FROM GURGAON: 28 km | Through the field visit, following conclusion has been drawn:. The Pond is receiving 60% Sewage Water of the Village. It contains dirty water and solid waste around it. This pond is a major rain water collection pond as its present location and catchment area of surrounding Agriculture land and village rain water runoff into it. The Boundary and inlets of brick masonry are present into the Pond. The Pond is a used for fishing purposes. As the pond is present at the foothills of Aravali, received water of rains only. The Village is present at the lower part, thus the sewage water of the village did not enter into this pond. The natural waterlogged Area, receiving contaminated water from the Village and storm water from the Aravalli Foothills during Rainy season. Waste water of the village Population getting accumulated in this pond, on Gram Panchayat Land. Water contamination due to the constant discharge of the sewerage water from the village through Proper Drainage Lines directed into the Pond from two sides. The sewage waste water of this Pond contains Water Hyacinth, Dirty Water and Solid Wastes. The Spillway is not present at the Pond. The base of the pond is filled with silt which is not allowing the water to percolate into the ground and thus increasing the volume of the pond. The 25% of Boundary Of pond towards Village road is present made up of Brick Masonry with Proper Plaster on it. The Spillway is not present at the Pond. The Boundary of the Pond is not present. The Waste Water from the Village can be allowed to enter into the Pond, which can be treated first and then discharged into the Pond. The GP Land of around 0.5 Acre is available around the Pond, which can be used for the installation of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). |
