WeforWater fellowship creates skilled workforce for green economy.
It is India’s first apprenticeship program to skill youth in becoming workers, leaders, managers and enablers for sustainability.
Green jobs are decent jobs that preserve/ restore the environment either in new green sectors or in conventional sectors
Fellows develop 21st Century skills through on- ground experiential learning and reflection.
The fellows go through a one year long process where they are attached to one of the projects. In the process they get an opportunity to interact with the community as well as various experts in the sector, preparing them to enter the Green economy with the right competencies and a long term vision.
