Gurujal organized plantation drives at Mojabad and Iqbalpur pond sites. The purpose of these plantation drives is to enhance the biodiversity and create community ownership at the pond site. In the Mojabad plantation drive, 20 Civil Defence volunteers participated and carried out plantation activity. Sarpanch of Mojabad and Iqbalpur along with local villagers actively participated in the activity. During the plantation drive, the Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC) was activated by GuruJal.
In the plantation drive, there were 650 plants planted in the Mojabad village. During the plantation drive, each person who planted the sapling took their plant responsibility. This will help in ensuring the sustainability of the plants. Forest department helps to provide the plant from their nurseries. During the plantation drive plants like Neem, Jamun, Peepal, Banyan, Sheesham, Anarmi, Kahna plants planted at the Pond sites.
