The work of pond restoration and rejuvenation at the Khentawas Village has been completed.
Khentawas village pond was selected for restoration & rejuvenation under ‘Support A Pond’ initiative of GuruJal Society. In order to treat the entering wastewater in the pond and to provide clean water for groundwater recharge, a decentralised wastewater treatment plant of Advanced Eco-Reactor Technology of 150 KLD capacity has been constructed. Landscaping work has been done at the pond site to create a sustainable built environment and to improve the quality of life of the people.
It was officially inaugurated on 2nd January 2021, Saturday, at 11:00 am at Baba Bhaiya park in the due presence of Shri Rao Inderjeet Singh (through video conference), Member of Parliament and Shri Rakesh Daultabad, MLA, Deputy and Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri IAS.
