GuruJal conducted plantation drives in Budhera village of Farrukhnagar block of Gurugram district. The aim of the drive was to make the pond site greener and cleaner with a participatory approach. The drive was facilitated by the GuruJal team with all safety measures. In the plantation drive Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University students, the local community has participated in the drive. Around 30 students from the university have visited the site, learned about the project and actively participated in the drive.

During the plantation drive, GuruJal has aware the community about the project and made them aware of community roles and responsibilities and discussed the importance of their local flora and fauna of the village.

The gram panchayat representatives especially village sarpanch and villagers participated in this drive. GuruJal team with the help of Budhera Village Sarpanch Mr Ram Prakash motivated the villagers and every participating member of the drive planted one plant and pledged to take care of it. Around 50-60 people actively participated in the drive.

In this plantation, around 250 plants were planted and maximum native species of Aravali range were planted such as neem, Jamun, cassia, pipal and many more plants.
